The Queensland Afghan Community Association (QACA) and Iranian Society of Queensland (ISQ) are collaborating to celebrate International Women’s Day for 2019! Join us for an inspiring and entertaining evening where we celebrate the journeys of women from Afghan and Iranian backgrounds, who have overcome many obstacles and are leaders within our communities.

The theme of the event is ‘Ladies in the Lead’ - we hope to create a safe space where women of diverse backgrounds can come together, share their stories, learn from one another and inspire the next generation of fireless women leaders. This event is about prioritising your voices and showcasing your culture and talents. It is open to all members of the community to attend and support!
